Nomovok has developed a complete build process for MeeGo based products. The process is available as the Native Build Service for all companies creating MeeGo devices. Native Build Service completes Nomovok's product creation service portfolio for the MeeGo platform. Nomovok Native Build Service has several advantages compared to cross-compilation tools:
- Need for manual patching is removed and the associated costs eliminated.
- Branching away from the Open Source community maintained versions is prevented.
- Most tool chain problems are avoided.
- Using upstream deliveries becomes easier and maintenance costs decrease dramatically.
The Native Build Service is compatible with the MeeGo community build system. Native Build Service extends the community process by grouping closed components and custom optimizations into a single service. The Native Build Service is available as a hosted cloud service, and the user is guaranteed to always have up-to-date binaries for product integration.
The Native Build Service supports ARM Cortex-A8, Cortex-A9 and IA.
